I am sorry to hear about Edna's passing. I have always looked at her as an angel on earth - caring, giving, and most of all helping others. It was during her illness, that I started missing her at church. Edna never did turn down a call even on her days when she didn't feel good.

Edna was an amazing woman. We loved playing phase 10 cards with her. Last time we played was on her ninety first birthday. We miss her already. We love you Edna.

You were the best grandmother to our children than I could have asked for. When the children were young, you never missed any of their birthdays or special holidays. Gifts and greeting cards with money inside were a common occurrence. That love and generosity later extended to your great grandchildren. You attended all of your grandchildren's weddings. Love of family was your priority. You have left a great legacy. Your sons are also examples of that legacy--they are both loving husbands, fathers and grandfathers. Thank you!

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Edna. Having grown up at North End, all the parents of the youth were like "our parents." Edna was like another mom to me. Dennis and I went all the way through school together and I used to spend a lot of time over at the Young's. Lisa and I send our special prayers to the entire Young family. I hope Edna is enjoying her "reunion" with her "heavenly" family.

Jerry said it correctly in his message above. We were constantly at Dennis and Micky's house playing and interacting with Edna and AC. We felt as though it was our second home with a second set of parents. Hard to do anything wrong with a second set of parents watching and correcting your behavior. My Mother and Edna were like sisters and maintained a life long friendship. Dennis and Micky I am grieving with you for your loss. Will see your Thursday.
