I remember Mrs. Surratt as our next door neighbor on Iowa Street in the South Park neighborhood in the early 1960's. I vividly remember her calling our house immediately after she heard that President Kennedy had been killed.
What a charming and outgoing person Mrs. Surratt was! I especially enjoyed hearing about her experiences as an exchange student in Finland.
I send my condolences to the Surratt family.
Sincerely,
Carol Achenbach Corbin

Toby brought joy and fun to our world. A real person with down to earth friendliness. She will be missed.

Toby was smart and energetic. I've often thought of her over the years. Wishing her family, close and extended, comfort during this time.
