Gloria, I was so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. Although I never met her, if she was anything like you, she was a special woman. You and the rest of your family are in my prayers.

To the Family,
I know you all have been with Jan as much as possible while she was going through the health challenges. We know that she was blessed and so loved by you all. She lived a remarkable life as reflected in this writing. May God be with you as you continue her legacy in your lives.

Jan was a dear Sister to Chi Omega's all over the country. She was a mentor and exemplar to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jeanne, Susan, Margaret & Gloria,
I have many fond memories of your Mom driving carpool to All Saints and telling us about her life adventures! She and my Mom, Ruby, had many fun and memorable days with their "Doncaster" showings.
She was very special, and my deepest sympathy on your loss.

How do you say goodbye to one of your closest friends. Jan and Payton moved to Beaumont the year that we did, after John was in the Air Force. We lived in our little houses for 8 years and then each built homes, one block apart the same year. Jan was a lady in the true sense of the word. She was a good friend to everyone and loved her family. She called John, "John John" and he called her "Jan Jan". Health problems have caused us to miss our yearly winter trip to Beaumont and keep us from attending her service. We love you girls and know that she was so proud of each of you. You are so n our prayers. Nancy and John Gray

I am so very sorry to hear of Mrs. Lamb’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this very difficult time. What a tremendous lady and legacy of service. I will forever be grateful to Mrs. Lamb for her generosity and for my opportunity to be a member of her beloved Chi Omega Sorority. Rest in peace.
