In the late 1950s Mr. Sharp was my Algebra teacher. So sorry to see this. We loved having him at the SPHS Class 1959 55th reunion a few years ago. Rest in Peace, Mr. Sharp.

RIP Mr. SHARP. The best principal ever. Worked with him, Mr. Bain, Mrs. Ray, and Mrs. Baggett. A great team. He never hesitated recognizing me in public. Always had respect and love for his students. 1971-74 were great years working in the office. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. Sharp was my high school principal in the early 70s. He also went to school with my mother Mary Baxter. He was always a fair and nice man. Prayers for the family and all the lives that he touched.

In high school there was something special about you. I wish then that I had known why, but, later in life we got to meet, again, and I had the honor of serving with you honoring our fallen vets and seeing and learning why you were the man you were. Thank you for your service to our country and for your love of kids, like me, that you mentored over the years at South Park High School.
With love and respect, Josey M. Johnson, III Bugler

You will be greatly missed, George Rhea, and certainly never forgotten. Your kindness and gracious acknowledgments of others who served their country managed to imprint themselves on the hearts of those who served. Thank you for mentoring my husband, Ted, who also flew in WWII, and for missing him too. Jan, I know what you and all of the rest of your and George's family are going through and my heart goes out to you. Love, Gwen
