Dear Jan, We share in your loss & join you spiritually in your grieving. George was one of the finest men we've ever met. We are proud & honored to have served with him. Over the many years you & George were family to us. He has been an inspiration to us & the 2 of you have given us many fond memories that we will always cherish. I am sorry that my condition will not allow me to be with you, but we are with you in spirit, truth & love. Sending our love & prayers. Yours always, Marv & Arlene

I am truly heartbroken to hear of Mr. Sharp's passing . He was my greatest inspiration and mentor . He has been a constant in my life for almost 50years . Mr. Sharp took a wild 17 year old kid and turned him into a respectable man . I will always be grateful to him for the life he has given me. May our Lord hold and comfort you in your time of sorrow . Rest In Peace My Friend , I will see you in a little while ..... Lee

So sorry to hear of Col. Sharps passing. I had the honor and privilege of serving with him in the Texas Air National Guard. I was First Sergeant during his tenure as commander of the unit. I had a great respect for him as a commander and friend.
May he be long remembered as the Gentleman and Officer that he was.

My brother David and I met Mr. Sharp when he lived on Wesr Circuit. We went to do some carpentry on his house. He not only became a loyal customer but a great friend. He had the most integrity of any man I have ever met. You will be sorely missed Mr.Sharp. By the way, you made the best iced tea I ever had.

I remember Mr. Sharp from SPHS. I can't remember him without a smile on his face and a kind word. I'm so sorry for your loss, but know he touched so many lives and made them better for having known him. Prayers for God 's comfort and peace during this time. Sandra Curtis Harper

I remember Mr. Sharp well, because he was our school counselor for boys in the mid 60's, and I did Work Experience in his office one period a day my junior year. He was always friendly and easy to talk to, and I remember him helping me with my own college choices and other things high school students face. Vaya con dios, Mr. Sharp!
