So sorry for your loss of your mother. Your mother was a very beautiful lady always had a beautiful bright smile.

I have been thinking about Joy because I knew she had just had a birthday. I was going to try to call her today but just happened to google her and found her obituary. Joy was such a good friend to Jack and I when he practiced law in Kountze. We enjoyed each others company and kept in touch after we moved to Austin. I will miss just knowing that she is there with always an encouraging word.

You were a Mom to me.. We have shared so much over the last 43 years. Thank you for all you did for me, Ray and the kids. There are so many things I want to say, so many sweet memories of you. We laughed, joked and cried together. All the holidays, birthdays, family get together's we shared were wonderful times. You were the best cook, Nobody could make it like Mama. I still can't make hot water cornbread.
I will dearly miss you. I know Ray was there to meet you and put his arms around you. I am so grateful for you being in my life. Thank you Mama. I love you,
