I had the privilege of working together with Greg as a fellow PE teacher in BISD for many years. He would always share great activities that he did with his students during our inservice days. He was a dedicated professional who strived for excellence everyday. The Elementary PE teachers of our district have lost a great mentor, and I have lost a good friend. We will meet again my friend, by God's grace, inside the gates of Heaven. Even so come Lord Jesus!!

Coach Brown will be missed by all the young lives he touched at Dishman Elementary. He greeted students in the morning and all that came to pick up their children. He showed compassion and a warm smile. Mrs. Brown my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. God bless you

I remember Coach Brown being the best coach at Dishman. He liked to have fun and the games we played were always the best. One of them being four square tag.

To Greg's family, friends and family at Dishman: I am so, so sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul! He was such a good, good guy and coach! My two children (both grown) LOVED Coach Brown! He was so sweet to everyone he met and I will never forget him and his spirit. He must have been an awesome Dad; because he was so good to all of the kids he taught! God Bless everyone with comfort, support and love from the Forbes family: Cindy, Nicole and Samuel

Coach, where do I begin? We shared so much together, your happy times and your sad times. I can not even think about you not being at school on Monday. I hope you knew how you were and still are loved by so many. You will be greatly misses by all. Prayers for your precious mother and children. I'm also praying for Stephanie because I know how much you cared for her. Until we meet again, rest my friend.

This is so sad to read. Coach Brown was my PE coach from Amelia Elementary to Dishman Elementary. He always made exercising fun for us. My favorite game was the parachute cat mouse game.... My deepest sympathies to his family he was a great man that has the most patience I've ever seen and remember. He taught a gym full of little kids all day and I can't remember one time he ever got mad. He always seemed to have a smile on. Our future children will definitely be missing out on one amazing coach!!
