Mr and Mrs Broussard were our neighbors for many years. They were the kindest people and we enjoyed visiting with them. Mr. Broussard had lots of stories to tell about all of the many dogs they have trained and shown at field trials. They will be missed in the neighborhood.

The Broussards have lived next door to my parents since the beginning of time (50 years). I have never know life without them. They were the GREATEST neighbors ever. Every morning I awoke to the sound of whistles. Always training the dogs with the kindness of commands. No one had dogs better disciplined than the Broussards. Mr. Lee and Mrs. Margie were the kindest, warmest, loving, generous two people I have ever known. If they knew you, you were a friend. If you were a friend, you were family. They were always there for all the great milestones for my parents, me, my brother, my sister, and all our kids. They simply were THE BEST ! I will miss them greatly but feel comfort that they are together again. Until we meet again.

It was a pleasure knowing you at the work site during our working days at Gulf States Utilities. I know you will continue to shed the light on us that is left behind.

Some people come into our lives for a little while and are soon forgotten, but not Lee Broussard. He was one of those special persons you would never forget. He was such a wonderful man and very much admired by all of those who knew him.

Lee was mentor to me when I started at GSU back in 1978. He was like a second father. I saw him at his house just before I retired 2 years ago. I will miss him.
