Lawrence L. McCord

It saddens me to read of Larry's passing. I met Mr. McCord about 4 or 5 years ago through a program at Baptist Hospital...as we had a very common interest and objectives. He will be missed. Rest in Peach now Larry. You're in hands of the angels and will find peace up there.

Very seldom in life does a true friend cross your path. We were lucky enough to find one in our neighbor, Larry. We will miss our Saturday afternoon coffee talks about the Bible and the good old days about growing up on a farm. It was always a happy sight to see him drive up in his old pickup truck that everyone in town recognized. He always made the effort to stay in touch with us, even after he moved to Beaumont. Larry was always there, when we needed hm. After Hurricane Ike, he provided us with his own travel trailer to use, as long as we needed it. God bless him and his family, now and always.
