Doris, truly a lady, and prefect example of a Child of God. She was always even tempered, thoughtful, agreeable, and of course a great cook. She and her twin sister (my sweet sister-in-law) were so close and both thoughtful and gracious to all of the Anderson "clan." My deepest condolences to all of the family. I had hoped to be with you on Saturday but my situation did not permit. I will be with you in thought and feeling. Go in peace. Love to all, "Aunt Barb."

You could never pick a better next door neighbor than Doris. A smile that could brighten even the darkest day. Growing up next door to Doris and Curtis was such a blessing. Such great memories.

Doris was a very sweet Lady! She will be missed by so many people. Mildred and I enjoyed have her not only as a client, but mostly as a friend. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers!

Doris and Curtis Hammock were two of the finest people I ever knew growing up in Port Arthur, Texas. I have nothing but precious memories. As the song Precious Memories says, "Precious Memories, how they linger, how they ever flood my soul..." I may live in Tennessee, but I am going to stop everything and I am going to be at the funeral for this sweet woman. To Shawn and Michael and your families, I send my deepest and most sincere condolences. Philip Cavender
