Wayne was a dear friend and co-worker. Although not in the same department, we were considered close friends and associates in the work field. He will truly be missed but not forgotten. Prayers go out to his wife and extended family. If God brings you to it He will carry you through it. God bless and keep you in His loving arms of Mercy.

Wayne Melancon, my best friend and the love of my life, I can't believe you are gone and I miss you terribly. We were supposed to grow old together but God had better plans for you. You have left me so many wonderful things. Beautiful memories of happy and sad times, they were all good. You stood by my side and supported me in everything. Most importantly you gave me a wonderful son, who has grown to be a fine young man just like yourself. I watch him treat his wife just as you treated me. He promised you he would take care of and watch over me and even though you couldn't respond I believe you heard him and it made it easier for you to let go. Rest in peace my love until we meet again.

Shirleen and Chad, There are no words for me to say at this point to make things better. We will always remember Wayne and all of the fun times we use to have. The crawfish boils, Easter egg throws, BBQ's and the Margerita's, just being together all the time. He will always be in our heart. Just imagine what a great reunion Wayne, David and KT are having. We love you,
Beverly and EJ

Such fun times on Lombard Street, we had. Grilling in the driveways, drinking beer, celebrating birthdays and that was all before the kids came...first Melissa, than Carlos and than Todd, next was your Chad and then my Michelle. How many hours did we spend watching them ride their HotCycles and drinking Carlo Rossi. Thank you Heavening Father for these days and thank you for giving us this time with Wayne. Shirleen, this is what I choose to remember. David and I love you and have you in our prayers.
