Dear Dan, Renee, and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your wife/mother was such a wonderful woman, but you all know that! Sunny and I always enjoyed visiting when we would bump into Virginia and Dan out and about somewhere. Almost always, it was somewhere that involved dancing, and we loved to watch you both! I will always remember the nice things she would say to me every time we saw each other. She ALWAYS had a compliment to give. She will truly be missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her.

"DAN & VIRGINIA" --- that was a phrase that was a LARGE part of my early life. My parents were Larry & Flaudry Plant --- and just a few houses down on Ridgemont Drive --- lived two of their very BEST friends --- Dan and Virginia Broussard --- and their wonderful children: Renee, Stephanie and Stephen. They were all wonderful people --- and close, close friends. Those years were formative years --- and one thing I remember well --- you could always count on the Broussard's for a smile & hug. And that was true just two year's ago --- when my father Larry --- passed away unexpectedly --- they were there with a HUG!!! The world will greatly miss Virginia Broussard --- an absolutely lovely LADY --- inside & out. Love, Clint & Flaudry Plant

Dan, John and I are heartbroken. It was an honor to be called a friend by her. She was the epitome of a true southern lady. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside. Please let John and I know if there is anything we can do. We are praying for you and your family. Love you.

Virginia & Dan Broussard were the greatest love story that was ever seen. No one loved each other more than these two. They have been an inspiration to everyone who has known them. The world has been a much better place because God loaned us Virginia for a little while. She was loving wife, loving mother, grandmother, good neighbor and dear friend to us all. I will never forget her. She will be greatly missed.

So sorry for your loss. I can relate to what you must be feeling now. I too lost my mom. I really enjoyed the times I got to spend with your mom and dad @ the Elk's. Your mom will be truly missed.
