Bro John was the epitome of a great man. He loved the Lord and his family...and he loved people. He had a ready smile and a big hug, and usually a joke to go along with it. He was very thankful for the family God gave him and he will be greatly missed! Heaven keeps getting sweeter and sweeter!

It was my pleasure to known John for many years having had him a year ahead of me in China school for 12 years. I really can't find the word to say since just reading this obit. May God give the family comfort and peace.

My sincerest condolences go out to John's family. I worked with John at Beaumont Well Works during the mid 1970's. He was a great friend and mentor to me back then and I have thought of him often. God bless all of you in your time of grief.
