Tim and the other Emerson Children, Please accept my sympathy in the loss of your mom. She was a delightful person! I carried my mother to her shop one day and they realized your mom knew one of my mother's aunts. They shared memories of her. Small world!! I am sure you all remember your time at Langham. Tim you were one of my students in the 4th grade. Just treasure the memories of your mom and the love she had for each of you. Sue Johnson

My heart goes out to family, and by family I mean any one who came in through the kitchen door. Mrs. Emerson (no offense meant, everyone still calls my mom Mrs. Tilley) was one of the warmest lights I've felt in all the world. She had a glow that brightened any space she entered. Even when she was setting us straight, which we made her do a lot, we all knew she still loved us. The world just got a little colder. I am lucky to have know her.
