Troy, Pam, Shelley and husband, Stacey and the Rest of the Dodson Family,

Oh my goodness, I had just decided to go online and look at the obituaries because I had not done so obviously in a while, obviously too long, and, unfortunately I do not get on Facebook much anymore so I guuess I'm out of the loop of hearing about things happening, and i was totally shocked and surprised to see that Mrs Dodson had passed on to be with Our Heavenly Father.

Oh, I am so, so very sorry I was not aware of this as I hope you know with all sincerity I would have definitely been at all services. You are very special to me as you were to my parents. They could have never had BETTER NEIGHBORS! Y'ALL WERE THE ULTIMATE!! SO MANY TIMES I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT Y'ALL. YOU ARE ANGELS IN DISGUISE:)

I know how hard it is to lose a mother. It has continued to be extremely difficult for me. She was my best friend, my confidante, my everything. All we can do is treasure the memories we have of them and the special times spentcwith them. May you find peace and comfort knowing she is with God now and resting peacefully eternally. Who knows? Maybe her and mama are laughing together right now!

Please know that you can call on Martin or me for snything you need at all. I believe you, Pam and Troy, have my number. Anyone else is welcome to call, also, if they need us. I hope the girls are doing ok. Please let them know how much mama loved them and ALWAYS talked highly of them...and she NEVER FORGOT THOSE PRECIOUS PUMPKINS. How awesome of them for thinking of her Added so much joy to her life:) They are to be very highly commended and I know their grandma would be so proud of them! She was a very beautiful, sweet lady.

George I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful woman and I will miss hearing her call me Mary Colleen. Thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

Ida, we the Incarnate Word Academy Class of 1948 will really miss seeing you at our Annual Reunion Luncheon on the 1st Tuesday of May. Your bright and smiling face always helped to put a smile on our face. You will be especially missed by Clarissa Porras Schiefen & Teana Sechelski your friends while in high school.

We may not be with you tonight or tomorrow as you say your final goodbye and celebrate your Mother's life, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your mother was an amazing person and lived a very rich and rewarding life. You are a testament to her love and devotion to her family.
