My Dad grew up with Norris and Mary Vern and my parents used to play cards with them and our families got together often when we were all kids. I'm so sorry I didn't find out about Mary's death until Sunday, the 31st, I would have gone to the service and would have loved to see you all again. I know the pain of losing your mom and will be praying for you all. Mary Vern was such a sweet and kind lady. I can just see them all around the bourre' table now...

There are no words I can say to comfort you at this difficult time! Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to deal with! Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting her I feel like I know her. Just from working with Tina. Every ounce of family love is shown thru my coworker which I am fortunate to be around. I know she was one of a kind- just like her daughter! My prayers are with all of your family! And Tina I love you! Just think mom is dancing with your daddy!

Sweet Mary, I just heard the news and we are out of the country. I'm so sorry we cannot make it there for your service. We deeply love you and will miss you. I've known you my whole life and you have always been like another grandmother to me. I will always remember the stories and conversations we've had over the years in MawMaw's living room when you'd stop in to visit.
