Ms. Odean & family, we are blessed to know Mr Sam. He is such a Christlike man. Happy memories of playing music especially hearing him sing gospel songs with you Odean. Praying for you all.

Bro. Sam was one of the strongest Christian men I have ever met. And what an amazing talent he had! I was so blessed to get to know him. He was a great inspiration to me and I can't wait to hear him play again one day. I love you , Mrs. Odean. Sending prayers for you and your family.

I was so sorry and sadden to hear of the loss of Sam.
He was a very outstanding and gracious man. Always so kind and very pleasant to be around. A very talented man in his music. I enjoyed and love to hear him play the guitar he was one of the best. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him

Odean and Family, our prayers are with you.

Sam Marks was all about family. When I was around him he was always smiling, kind & gentle. The Marks house was the first place I remember being besides my own house. Great memories from my childhood started with the Marks family. I am thankful Sam is no longer suffering.

I learned more from Sam than he ever knew. I would say that most of us did. Helping him build houses and watching him and the old timers play their old school music and trying to play along. He will be missed but always remembered. One going to see the Lord.
