So sorry to read about your loss. Ms. Charis was always so warm and kind. Always a pleasure to see at Honey B with a smile and a sweet story to share. You are all so blessed to have had such beautiful mother in your life.

I just learned today of Charis's death. I would have attended her funeral otherwise. I worked with Charis At Mobil during the 80's. I absolutely adored her more than words can say. Fly with the angels Charis because you truly are one. Save me a seat in Heaven. Much love, Stephanie

I know a great celebration was had in Heaven on Christmas Day. I know she was welcomed with open arms by her loving husband and those who past before her. I will always remember our times together, her stories of Joey and "Ricky" growing up together, their times at the beach, and the mischief they got into. I can taste her cherry dream pie just thinking about it. Prayers for comfort for Charis' family and friends during this difficult time as they grieve her loss. Heaven gained another angel.

Charis and Frank were very dear to both of us since school days. We played cards and other games during our courting days. and as newly married couples. Then we got busy with our children and didn't spend as much time together as families. They and their family are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all. Our love, Gay and Ruth

Dear Joey, Paula, Laurie & Jim,
Many memories of Charis are flooding my thoughts at this sad time. She was such a loving and kind woman to all that knew her. Thinking back today I so remember and admire her wit, strength, and rock-solid convictions. Sometimes we miss being cognitive of that when we are in the moment with people. I thank her for all that she has taught me in life especially how to make her award-winning shrimp gumbo!
No one could ever ask for a better Mother, Grandmother or Mother-in-Law. I send her entire family my love and condolences. Heaven has gained an amazing soul.
Diane
