So sorry to hear of Bobbie's passing! She was a great lady and we loved her a lot. We remember her as a truly hospitable Texan lady - serving us a meal with food fresh from her garden ... a meal that will stand out in our memories as one of the best ever!! We enjoyed visiting her on several occasions both in Lumberton and in Vancouver. Much love, Laura Foster, Esther Adams, Lorna Adams

To Bobbie's children, Jeri and Marvin, and to all of her other many beloved family members and dear friends, I express my deepest sympathies on the loss of your loved one. She was such a very special lady who touched so many lives. She was always quick to greet former students like myself with a smile and words of hello when we would see one another in the community. Yes, she was a pillar of the small Chance-Loeb and now larger Lumberton community. All staff and students were fortunate to be a part of the Lumberton school system when she was employed there as a school secretary. She was unforgettable as she was one of the very best school secretaries ever. She did her job with such great wisdom, love, and compassion for all who came in contact with her on the job. The Adams family was definitely blessed with such a great lady as the family matriach to have as a role model. Prayers now for peace and comfort for the family as she has entered her eternal place of rest in Heaven with Jesus. I understand how hard it is to say 'see you later', but remember it is not 'good-bye'. It is a change of address from her long time Chance-Cut Off Earthly home to her forever Heavenly home located on streets of gold. I have no doubt she was greeted in Heaven with the words "well done good and faithful servant".

Mrs. Adams was a very special lady. I have very warm memories of her from my early childhood days at the primary school. She always welcomed you with a smile and hug, and made you feel so safe and special. For young children that is a gift like no other. To be able to remember her so vividly after all these years, speaks for itself. She always remembered who you were after so many years of growing and changing. I thank God for this beautiful lady and blessing so many lives with her presence. I know she will be missed but I rejoice in knowing where she is and the homecoming she is receiving right now. I pray for her loved ones and friends, for their void will be immense. However, take great comfort in knowing, because of Jesus, you will see her again. My love to you all and may peace be with you. What sweet memories we have of Bobbie. She and our mother Gloria were best friends, and our families have shared so much since they both worked at Chance Loeb Elementary, before Lumberton was developed. Much love and hugs to Jeri & Dwight, Marvin and all of Bobbie's family.
