To Mrs. Branscum's family: She was the sweetest, gentlewoman I ever knew. It was a pleasure to have her volunteer at the library and the library was made better by her presence and attitude. I admired her and I hate to see the world without her. May she rest in peace on the highest peak in heaven.

Sweet Debbie, my heart goes out to you and Ashley right now as you go through the process of dealing with your mom's death. She loved all of you so very much, and I know first-hand how you will miss her. I've thought of her so often since Mother died during the craziness of Rita--she was the only one from the community who made it to the funeral because of the evacuation. I've always wondered how she got there, bless her heart--what a good friend! She was a precious, godly lady and I always knew that she loved me, too. I will be praying for you, James, and all of the grandchildren during these next days, but I'm so thankful for her life, and the example that she was to so many young people in Kountze. I love you. Eva

I have known her all my life. I just read about her passing in the papers. I am very sorry I did not know until now. She was always a classy lady - beautifully groomed, a loyal supporter of the church. The last time I saw her - she was voting at the courthouse. Despite her physical limitations she took the time to cast a vote and participate in the democratic process. She will be missed. Prayers for all her friends and family!!

My beautiful Aunt Charlene. I learned at a very young age never to utter the words "I'm bored" to my Aunt. She would always find a chore to occupy our time. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. And to me, my Aunt helped me through some very rough times in my life many, many years ago. You will be missed Aunt Charlene. Please give Uncle Dick a hug from me.
Love, Tammi
