I have so many good memories Aunt Joan. Beginning in the 60's when I spent summer time in Beaumont. Always kind, gentle, caring, loving & so beautiful, inside & out. I will get to see you again one day.
Love Always Terrie Lynne

Nana is a beautiful person inside and out. Love was never absent in her words or actions. She always thought o me as her grandson and I, her as my grandmother. I will love you and miss you.

My Aunt Joan always had a glow about her. I can remember now her soft laugh and warm smile. I loved her accent, strong and delicate at the same time. In the 1970's her favorite perfume was White Shoulders, and when I think of Joan, I remember that perfume. She was kind and generous, she loved and adored her children (and grandchildren). What always stood out to me was her commitment to and unconditional love for her children. She never wavered in that .... I know, in my heart, she continues to watch over her loved ones ... she remains at their side now. Sending all my love to my cousins and second cousins. I am sorry to miss the service in Beaumont, but I will be there in spirit. Much love ....

Just watched the fugitive and it reminded me of you taking me to go see it at the movie theater. You have always been someone that would comfort me if I was going through a hard time even if you did not know about it, just being around you always makes me happy and the memory of you will always comfort us.

Mother,
My home, my family have been truly blessed to have witnessed your faith and courage while battling this terrible disease. To be continually faithful during the good times is commendable; but the faith you lived for the last 6 months will forever be strengthen my family. We were honored to be there to with this walk with you. Our home and lives will forever be blessed by your faith in Jesus Christ.
