Jessie Mae Ledet Johnston

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Jessie Mae. She was such a fine woman, and a great inspiration to everyone who knew her. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Johnston family.

Jill and family....So very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a lady! I have wonderful memories of time spent at your home and the amazing smell of Cajun cooking coming from the kitchen!! May you find comfort and peace in knowing that she and your Dad are together again in Heaven.

I know your heart is saddened with this loss, but she is at peace now being back in the company of your dad. They are smiling happily. It is those of us on earth that will miss her greatly. I will pray for your family during this great loss.

To all the Johnston family. Our hearts and love are with you all. I am overwhelmed with so many wonderful memories of sweet Jessie Mae. What a sweetheart! I'm glad I had a chance a few years ago to remind her of how she "saved" me from Mrs. Curlee in first grade! She was mother's first cousin but she had "Aunt" status in my heart! I hope to see y'all Tuesday. Love.
