For a child of God victory always comes through death. 1co 15:55 remind us when it says O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?

Sour Lake has lost a truly lovely woman. Jessie was what every wife, mother, neighbor, friend and citizen should be like. The smile on her face in the obituary picture is the kind you remembered every time you saw her. She lived life with grace and dignity and raised a fine family with the same ideals. I was blessed to visit in her home several times and never felt like a guest, but like a member of the family. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of the Johnston family; you have the love and support from a lot of people here in Sour Lake and the surrounding communities. We will always remember Archie and Jessie with fondness and we know you are proud to have had them as parents.

I feel so privileged to have known Jesse Mae all those years I lived in Sour Lake. I think she helped me raise my children along with hers. I know Archie was waiting at the Pearly Gates for her.
