I have very fond memories of your mother, she always came and visited with me in my office before she stopped driving. I hope your family has a greater sense of God's grace and love during this difficult time.

We are saddened to hear of Doris passing. What a sweet friend to Bertie and I. We were always welcome with her beautiful smile .

Dearest Cousins Rita & 'Kitty',

Your mom, my Aunt Doris, has always held a special place in my heart for her gentleness and kindness. I hold the fondest memories, when I was a little girl coming over to play at your house, of two freshly made cakes sitting either on the table or on the counter always there for us waiting to be eaten! She, like my Momma, was and wonderful mother, cook and baker! Also, I will never forget her beautiful smile, which always reminded me of Papaw Gaudet's smile and it was funny but she had the same twinkle in her eyes.

I do feel your loss and I am very saddened for your grief, but I am relieved she suffers no more. She is now in the arms of Jesus, her Savior and Lord. She is in fellowship with those who have gone before her and they are all rejoicing she is FREE from this old world and all of it's troubles.

There is a day, and I believe it is sooner than we think, that the trumpet will sound and we all who believe in HIM will be called to go too. Nothing will keep us from HIM and from those whom we love who are waiting for us.

What a sweet lady! We will miss her smiling face on Wednesday evenings when she would help Kitty at our religion classes. She was always a joy to be around!

Ronnie and I are so sad to hear the news of your angel Momma. She was one of the sweetest ladies we knew.
I am staying with my Mom but send you thoughts, love and prayers during this time.

She will be missed by everyone.
