Terri,

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Scott was a friend and colleague whom I much admired. The late Dr. Black once told me that Scott would come out on any case at any time without any questions to help him. Scott took care of many patients of mine and a family member. He was an excellent surgeon and a great person. We had several very memorable fishing and hunting trips over the years.

I have not seen him much recently since I moved to Orange but I will miss him.

Goodbye my friend. Donald Webb

Deepest sympathy to Scotts family. I have known Scott since he started his practice in Beaumont. I spent many hours in surgery with him. He was a good surgeon and didn't waste time while operating. Just the one you wanted for trauma cases.

I've known Scott since UTMB (medical school). We both came to Beaumont at the same time and shared many memories in the OR and beyond. He will be sorely missed. Ila and I send our heartfelt sympathy to all his family.

My heart is so saddened by God calling Scott back to heaven so early in life, ...but I am so blessed and reassured that He is celebrating with Our Savior Jesus Christ up there now.
He was such a blessing to me as kind of "kid brother" when we were in Victoria High School in 1969 & 1970. He used to stop in at my mom & dad's house (even after I had gone on to Huntsville for college) and they loved him like their own son. There was a whole group of us that all just 'hung out" together-Lynn Burrage Garner, Mayo Heath, Bill Wright, Me,- and a few others. He & Terri came to see me in 2008 after a very serious death in my family and that blessed me more than he ever imagined.
I considered him one of greatest blessings of a friend that Jesus ever gave to me in my life.
We have all been so honored and enriched by knowing Scott. God's purpose for Scott's life was fulfilled more than we ever imagined by his presence
in ours through the years. Thank you God for giving him to all of us!

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Dr. Kacy was a fine surgeon and a good man. He will be missed by all that knew him. I was a Ward Clerk at Bmt. Med. Surgical Hospital (MASH) when I first met him many years ago.
