Dr.Kacy was my teacher in General Surgery when I came to Beaumont in 1997. He was a great mentor and later on became my colleague. With excellent surgical skills, he saved many a life in Beaumont area. He also taught me importance of tithing. He used to say "that 10% is not ours, its God's money, and we should never hold it back" Our house still follow that principle of tithing and we are richly blessed. I shall miss surely his booming bass voice. Until the Lord's coming where "every eye shall see" Him, we remain... Suresh and Ponna

Scott was a colleague and friend from the time he came to Beaumont . Not only did he successfully operate on many of my patients , he saved my life when I had a perforated appendix ! He was smart enough to retire earlier than some of us . When I last saw him he said that if he had known retirement was going to be that much fun , he would have done it sooner ! He not only was an excellent surgeon , he knew how to make people smile . I will miss him ! Linda & I pray peace for Scott's family until we all see him again in heaven .

Teri, Thinking of you and your family at this time. I last saw Scott about a year ago when he agreed to do a risky but needed surgery on my elderly mother. I was not surprised that his skills extended her life.
Enjoyed working with you and Scott at St. E. Jim (& Carolyn) McCormick Cypress, TX

I had the experience of working with Scott in Honduras on medical-surgical mission trips for about 10 years. I have many wonderful memories of a good man with a great heart that was fun to be around, he is fell some where between John Wayne and Red Duke. We all got to see a Real Love Story between him and Terri that took our breath away. Scotty. you are loved, missed already and I can not wait to see you again. Heaven will never be quiet and peaceful again with you, Matthew and Leslie up there talking, laughing and drinking up the coffee . Love you Brother
