Stuart Scott Kacy, M.D.

Just found out about the passing of Dr. Kacy. I really liked Dr. Kacy. He was very kind and had a compassion for others. He will be missed by the community of Southeast TX.

My dad so loved Scott Kacy. He was a real blessing to Bob & Juanell Bateman. Praying for your family.

So Sorry for your loss. I went to school and graduated from Victoria High School with Scott in 1970. My maiden name was Kaspar, and as we were often seated in alphabetical order back then Scott and I became good friends. Always enjoyed visiting with him at our VHS reunions. He will be missed. We have a reunion coming up on Oct. 31 and I will make an announcement of his passing.

I enjoyed the many years I worked in the OR with Dr Kacy he was always kind.

I've considered Dr. Kacy my personal surgeon for several years. Beside doing my daughter's emergency surgery he did each of mine with perfection. I still chuckle when I remember his boots making their way down the hall. I was so shocked to hear of his passing. We have lost a wonderful surgeon and person in our community.

Terri I just wanted to tell you how saddened I was to hear about the loss of Dr Kacy. He will be missed beyond words. My prayers are with you and the family.

We were so saddened to hear about Scott's passing,...had no idea that he was so ill. He was a good Christian friend and loved and greatly respected. I know that he will be missed by so many people. Thank God that we all have the memories of times spent together. God bless you and comfort you as only He can.

I had the honor of working with Dr. Kacy for about 25 years. I also had the privilege of going on the Mexico Mission trips with him for 7 years. He had a huge heart. He would call me while I was in Maine caring for my mother as she was dying, just to check up on me. He was a wonderful surgeon and he will be greatly missed. We have a wonderful guardian angel watching over us. I will miss you dearly Doc.
