My first memories of Mr. Joe was when I was 9 years old and we had just moved from Tennessee to Beaumont. My mom, dad, and I were trying to unload to moving van we had rented and here comes Mr. Joe with several other neighbors and they helped us get everything unloaded. This selfless act was the start of a lifetime friendship!! The Chesnut's became part of our family!! Ms. Allyne my thoughts are prayers are with you and if you need anything at all please do not hesitate to call no matter the time of day or night!! May God comfort you during the days ahead, may He wrap His arms of love around you. Thank you Mr. Joe for the lifetime of memories, I will surely miss you!!

"Grant us the powers of quickening grace, To fit our souls to fly, Then, when we drop this dying flesh, We’ll rise above the sky."
Joel was a good man and Brother Mason. He will be missed.

RIP Joe. You were a fussy "old man" with a heart of gold. My days of selling cars with you were a true pleasure. I know your family will sorely miss you. Jim
