Dear Freddie and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I know that it is hard to lose someone you love so much. The last years have been hard for Joe; hard for all of you to see him so sick but I'm sure your memories must be good ones. I remember Joe always having a bag of popcorn at the HS basketball games to take home to you. And I think of 1985 when all of you went to Europe on a student tour I sponsored. Remember how Joe and Henry would bring us something to eat at our lunch break so you and I could hurry up and shop in some of the stores before they closed two hours for lunch. We had lots of fun on that trip, didn't we? You've been a good and faithful wife Freddie. I know that your goal was to take care of Joe and you have. I'm sorry we can't drive to Dayton tomorrow for Joe's service. The roofers started on our house early this morning. I don't know what the rain did to it as only the tar paper had been put down but I do know they are coming back tomorrow and Wednesday. Hello to your children that I probably won't get to see or get to meet their children. Hello to Bill and Hedda. I will see you soon. Love to all of you........... Linda and Henry Pinner
