Johnny W. Atkins

Jennie,
Nancy and I are saddened to learn of Johnny's passing. During my adult years in Scouting I had no better supporter or friend than Johnny. He had a unique talent for making his volunteers feel special and needed. He was such a nice man it was almost impossible to turn him down. I know he was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Please accept our sincere condolences. We pray that Gods grace will provide you with comfort.

Johnny was a good Scout. Serving with him on the board of 3 Rivers Council was an honor.
Deepest sympathy to his family. He will be missed by a lot of people and his legacy in the young people he served will live on.

I feel sorrow for your family as you feel that human impact of a deep and profound loss.
I remember his scouting and his enterprising and personal nature. I am sorry and wish you healing. My advice after losing my father a decade ago: feel the loss and share often with your family and children of the blessing that is a father-
until our Lord makes all things new.

To the Atkins Family,

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Atkins. He was an amazing man and lived a full life. He was the kind of man people wanted to be like and I know you are so proud of all his accomplishments. I remember him fondly from First Methodist Church-Beaumont; and when we learned of his passing, my brother, Philip Woodland, spoke very highly of him due to all their mutual Boy Scout activities. Please accept my condolences and I'm thinking of you in friendship and in sympathy.

Jennie and Family - Sorry to hear the news about Johnny. We will always remember him fondly. He touched so many lives. The scouting family has lost another great man, who dedicated his life to scouting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God give each of you peace at this difficult time.

Johnny was such a great person and one of the best men I have ever known. Johnny will live on in our memories forever. My prayers and sympathy go out to the family.
