Nelson O. Long, Jr.

To all the family of Nelson. We are so sorry for your loss. We have lost a great friend also. Nelson was a dignified, loyal, honest, hard working, and caring man. He wasn't showy or boastful. We can truly say that Nelson was a true gentleman. We are thankful for all the times we shared and we know we will meet again in heaven. We are sorry that we will miss the services because of a long time planned vacation.

We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Long's passing. He was such a gentleman, and was one of the kindest men I have ever know. Nelson and family, please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Cheryl, Vicki and Nelson, you guys are in my prayers. Uncle Nelson was a good man and will truly be missed. He is with his parents, brother and sister in heaven in the comfort of our Lord. He is in no pain and loving his family in his new eternal life. May God comfort you in your loss and give you peace. I will always remember coming over every Saturday morning, he and dad enjoying each other's company while Vicki and Nelson had fun scaring me and Cheryl trying to protect me. I will always have fond memories of him!
