Jane Owens Griffin

I had the privilege of working with this sweet woman at NISD. We had the best talks and lots of laughs. She will be deeply missed.

My deepest sympathy to this sweet ladies family. I have very fond memories of being in her class.

Jane and I started out in first grade and went all the way though high school together. We have remainded "forever" close friends all these years. It is with a heavy heart, I must say: "Farewell, my dear friend. . . I will miss you more than I can ever say." Our Jena Girl gatherings will never be the same without you, but OH, waht precious memories you leave for all of us to cherish. Ann

Jane was the most caring and decent person I have ever known. I am truly sorry for her loss and want Mike and Tracy and Dianne to know that she will always be remembered as a kind and God loving lady. I thought of her often over the years.

I knew Jane when she was a teenager and her dad was the First Baptist minister. I admired her fashion even then. I had no idea my teaching career would lead me back to Nederland where I knew Jane as a colleague, administrator, and friend. Sympathy and prayers to her family as they honor her life.
