Jerald "Jerry" Arnold

Jerry Arnold was a life long friend, a kind and decent man and will be missed.
My prayers go out to his family in this time of sorrow.

Darnell, Latrell and Family, my deepest sympathies go out to all of you. We were neighbors, schoolmates and friends for many years, and Jerry was something of a mentor to me early on. He was a grade ahead, but treated me as an "equal," and I was impressed with that.

Jerry helped me with lessons now and then, but the fun times were when we'd ride around in his car. Seems like he had a '53 or '54 Chevy. I probably shouldn't say this, but he taught me some hilarious, semi-bawdy songs. (We were teenagers, forgive us.) Later, we worked together at Neches Butane for a long time.

I know he will be missed, and I will remember him always. I'm sure you will, too.

Always a burden to see one go,
Missing the dear one we love so!
But sure in the comfort we have in our soul,
He's forever with Jesus thru eternity's roll.

With much love and prayers to all my extended family in the passing of my beloved cousin, Jerry. I am so sorry that my health does not permit me to be there in person. "Memory is a gift from God that death cannot destroy, and all the darkness of grief cannot dim it's light of happiness." May God be with you all at this terrible time.

Jerry was the best friend I ever had. Very loyal, kind, loving and very trustworthy. You could always count on Jerry having your back. I will miss my friend very much! I could listen to his stories for hours. I will miss our long talks when we would solve all the worlds problems! I will miss those big bear hugs when we were together. I always told him I loved him when we left each other or when we hung up the phone with each other and him the same. Heaven sure got a great guy Saturday morning!
