Dear Byron, It is 8:30 on Saturday, July 10th, and we learned of Ann's death two hours ago, having no idea of what has been going on the past several days in your family. Jack and I were distressed, as you can imagine, to hear about Ann's death. Of course, Jack and I were aware that things were not going well, but the loss of a longtime friend, is never welcome news. We both are very sad, Byron, as we send you and your family love, and as we both smile at all of the wonderful memories we cherish of you and Ann. These memories are comforting to us and hopefully to you. Kelly and Jack

Byron, what a loving and delightful portrait of Ann and her life! She surely knew, especially in these last difficult months, that she was loved with complete devotion by you. Your deep compassion and gentleness was the very highest of gifts possible. I know that her spirit is at peace, resting in great gratitude for the life and joys you provided her. May the coming days bring comfort to you in knowing what a wonderful gift you gave her. Well done, beloved Friend. Well done.

Dear Reverend: I know that there is no proper time to lose a close family member or loved one but I have have always heard, and lived by the saying, that GOD never gives us more than we can handle and I know that you and the family will weather this loss. I know that HE already has Ann cradled in HIS arms. I apologize in that I will not be able to see you in The Cloister at the church on July 11 because I had surgrey on 7-8-15 and the Doctor said to stay off of my feet for 2 weeks. Mine and Millie's sympathies or with you.

Byron
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Ann. She had the most expressive eyes that went perfectly with her kind and gentle manner. I enjoyed visiting with her. Ann was always friendly. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
