I have been reflecting this week over my Uncle Bob's death. He and my Aunt Ella have been at every major event in My life as well as my sister's, and brother's life.Be it a wedding, graduation,my husbands Funeral in Houston,2 hospital stays.Bob was always there, giving emotional support,a shoulder to cry on ,a smile,or just words of wisdom. This is what I will miss the most, that and his sense of humor.Bob Richmond was a great Uncle! My sister, brother, and I were very lucky to have him as an Uncle!

I will miss Bob as we were a close knit family and hunted, fished and helped each other. He and Gloria are probably laughing and talking about the good times we all had. I am the last of this family but I am proud that I also served our country and retired a Sgt Major from the army.Bless all of Bob's family and call me any time. Love to all.

I am the daughter of Alex Geisler. Although I never had the honor of meeting Bob, I feel like I have known him for years. He and my dad became friends during WWII. Throughout our childhood my dad has enjoyed telling my brothers and myself stories about his time as a bombardier along side his friend and co pilot Bob. Those stories have also been told to his grandchildren and as soon as his great grandchildren are old enough they will hear them too. The world lost a great hero but he will live on in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Sincerely,
Karen Geisler Rauscher and family

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Richmond family on Bob's passing.
Bob and I became friends for life during our service in the Air Force during WW11. I will miss Bob and the many phone calls made to each other through the years since then.
Sincerely,
Alex Geisler and Family
