Our hearts are with you as you celebrate the life of your Husband, Father & Grandfather. Although we did not get to see him much in the past few years, I will always treasure his reaction to my homemade fried chicken and mashed potato dinner we shared in Austin. He was a delight and someone we admired greatly. His children exemplify the love he shared.

Hugs & prayers to all.

My uncle Bob Richmond will be missed by many and remembered by many. I find I am at a loss for words at this juncture. I remember being at my fathers side the night before he passed away. I had my cell and he wanted to talk to family and he asked for Bob by name. Every one was at the lake house at that time in August. I couldn't get through to him. I realized later he just wanted to say good bye to those he loved. Now I will cherish all the memories I share with all the Richmonds and McGowns. All the extended family! I love my Uncle Bob! Until we meet again.

Ellouise and family, my deepest sympathies go out to you at this sad time. We were friends for many years, and both of you were wonderful neighbors. I've never known a finer man than Bob Richmond. I have many memories of living on Anchor Street and seeing your children grow up. For some reason today, I recall the little Dogwood tree that wasn't supposed to grow in this climate, but he planted it beside the house, and grow it did. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May Bob rest in peace.

I have known Bob and his wonderful wife for many years and loved them both. I am also a member of Wesley UMC and enjoyed visiting with them every Sunday.

My prayers go out to Ellouise and family. May GOD be with each of you in this sorrowful time.

Great Uncle Bob was a man of God, country and family. He was always smiling and happy to serve. Whenever in his presence he had a story to tell from years long past and was genuinely happy to see you.

I recall many happy moments with Bob at the Farrs chapel family reunion in the woods of east Texas. Wether sharing a meal, cup of coffee or just sitting around and 'shooting the breeze, you were sure to leave with a smile on your face after time spent with Bob.

Bob spoke with me of his time in the Air Force. What life he lived in service to our country flying his way to lieutenant colonel.

In closing I must say that I reflect on Bob's life and pray that I can in some way be a man of faith and family dedicated as he.

So sorry for your loss Mrs. Richmond. You and your husband were so welcoming of me when I lived in Beaumont....hanging out with Ronnie and the "one day to be" Mrs. Ronnie Richmond! Mr. Richmond represented the best of our nation....a true man of God and a true American patriot. May the entire Richmond clan celebrate and cherish the MANY MANY fond memories they enjoyed with Mr. Richmond...and keep his spirit alive in the hearts. Sincerely, Robert Royalty
