George Heman Fussell

George an my mom Verna Gabourel worked at Gulf Oil main office in Port Arthur for many years. The nick name they gave her was "Little Iodine". She has also passed on but I remember George from my childhood when we moved to Nederland in 1962. I am so very sorry for your loss.

It was such a joy to be in the church choir with George. He was one of my favorite people at church and will be missed.

You may have heard him talk about grandma. Well, that is who I am. I was always known as grandma, since I was a grandma at the age of 30.

It was a pleasure knowing your father and working with him.

Becky, So sorry to hear about dad. He was such a sweetheart. We have shared many fishing, beach and baseball stories. We'll miss him, but also know he's in a better place and reunited with your mom. Prayers to you and your family.
