Nina McCaughn Rice Cummins

Beaumont, Tx. Nina was my dearest friend and sis-in-law. She was one of the toughest and smartest women I knew. She was so practical and a quick thinker. You could go to her for advice and she would have you think things through. She had a long career in the Legal Field and assisted me as an able note reader and transcriber in my court reporting duties, and I appreciated her so much. Nina was highly respected by the lawyers in her job as Court Clerk for the 60th District Court, Jefferson County, Tx and she had many friends at the courthouse. She also introduced me to her brother, John E., who became my wonderful husband of 50 years. We love her and she will be dearly missed. Gay Nell McCaughn
