My aunt Rhea (my father's sister) had a great influence on my life, as well as the rest of the family. She loved her family and did all she could to help each one. She will be greatly missed. Dorothy Simpson

Rhea was a mentoring influence for me as I began teaching at San Jacinto College. Her practical advice and snarky good humor helped me to adjust to the demands of the college. We worked together to create a wonderfully successful ESL program that pioneered the college's efforts to help students who were coming to college but did not speak English well.
She was an important part of the life of the College and my life. I shall miss her! karen

It was a pleasure to know Rhea at San Jacinto College. She mentored and assisted many of the ladies who were in administrative positions at the college. I am so glad to have known her.
