We have all lost a friend, colleague and a leader in the community. Our sincere condolences to your family he will be missed by all.

Ike was a friend to the affordable housing industry and my friend. I enjoyed the times when we would discuss or comiserate the state of our business.

I will always remember Ike as a class act with a great sense of humor. The world is a better place for him having been in it.

My deepest sympathy to the Akbari family and the business family on Ike's loss.

He was such a lovely guy. Full of energy, intelligence, and enthusiasm for helping people. I always found it amazing that he has overcome so much to be a success in business. Maybe that is why he was so gifted at helping those who are less fortunate.

We will really miss Ike. I know he has built a legacy that Chris and the family will continue, and Ike would certainly be very, very proud.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Ike on a couple of occasions, but he was a very nice man and wish I had more opportunities to get to know him. My deepest sympathies go out to Ike's family and close friends.
