I had the priveledge of working with Mr. Abshire in the Compressor Gang. He made our work much easier, He work like He was in His 20's. He did more than His share of the work. R.I.P. Mr. Abshire, I will remember You always.

Mr. Abshire was a true and loyal friend of my parents, Howard "Willie" and Annie Austin. He and Ruby surely made a lasting impression on all of us. He will be sorely missed by all. GOD BLESS his family.

Diana, I am so sorry for the loss of your daddy. He was a really nice man. I have fun memories of when you and he came to our house several times to help Robert and me wrap Christmas presents.

It is amazing that you and your family were able to have him around for such a long time. What a blessing. He lived an amazing life.
