I was honored, blessed and proud to have the privilege of working for Lupe in the late '80s. Lupe hired me a couple of months after my precious daughter died, giving me confidence to get up, start over and come to work again. He was caring and compassionate regarding my circumstances. I will never forget how kind he and his family treated me. We have lost a great man of character and a true friend. Nancy and children, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I grieve with you and will miss Lupe.

I was privileged to know Judge Flores very well. First, I practiced law with him at two separate times. I prosecuted cases under him in City of Beaumont Municipal Court. I also defended cases in his court in County Court at Law No. 2. Judge Flores had true judicial temperament. He was respected by all, litigants, citizens, etc.He will be greatly missed.
