I am so sorry to hear that Judge Flores has passed. He was such a wonderful man - never meet a stranger. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I'm saddened to hear of Lupe's passing. Your family has been an important part of mine from the first time I met Lupe in 1983 when I was a city council candidate until the time when Nancy was my daughter's favorite-ever teacher and all time greatest mentor. Your son was one of my favorite students. Kim and I are saddened and we both send our sympathy to you. Lupe was a guy I will always remember.

All of us who knew "Lupe" are heart broken. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and our prayers. Such a sweet and honorable man. I was blessed to be able to call him "friend."
