My Pawpaw, he was such a wonderful person! I consider myself so lucky to have had him in my life. He was funny, loving, caring, pretty much everything you would want in a grandfather. I bet hardly a week went by where he didn't have a grandchild or great grandchild in his lap. I have so many fond memories of him that its hard to be sad about his passing. I feel like I have followed in his footsteps in someways, and it makes me proud. I will miss him dearly but know that he's in a better place and will watch over us. I love you PawPaw!!

Dear Maw Maw and all her Johnston/Ledet Family,
My heart is with all of you right now. Paw Paw was very loved by everyone who knew him. He had a great life that was filled with love and fun times with his amazing family, which he put before everything else in life. Paw Paw was a very happy man and he taught us all so much. We will always remember all he did for everybody and the wonderful outlook he had on life. I am very grateful for all the good times we had and the things I learned from him. I will miss you Paw Paw.
Love,
Justin

David I am thinking of you and your family during this time of loss. Cherish the memories and they will warm your heart. I often think of the poem "If you could see me now, you wouldn't shed a tear" for he is walking the streets of heaven!
