My sincere sympathy on your loss. Patsy was such a sweet lady and had a kind spirit. I was blessed to work with her at the primary school. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word in her tongue. May peace be with your family.

We loved Patsy, and she loved us at Lumberton Primary. She did everything to keep us organized and us to date; even if she had to remind us more than once. : ) She loved to laugh, and was always very helpful to teachers and children. She made our jobs pleasant with her cheerful personality. She will be missed, and I will pray for comfort and peace for her family.

I was a 1989 Graduate of Lumberton High. I remember from my "primary years" Mrs. Purks sitting next to Mrs. Adams in Mr. Morgan's office. I always thought of her and Mrs. Adams as permanent fixtures at LISD.
Sometimes I think as we get older that we focus on our increasing age as being our misfortune in life, but it's really losing folks from your childhood whether it be a friend or someone like Mrs. Purks that was that constant "Star" that we could count on when having a bad day as that second or third grader who needed that stability of a smiling face that may not have been provided at home like it should have.
Thank you, Mrs. Purks, for adding warmth to my years at Lumberton and adding to those years a familiar face that "little folks" need.
My thoughts with the family and Brian... Robert Brown

Patsy was such a sweet lady. She helped all the children and teachers that were at the Primary School. She made sure no child went hungry or was without supplies. We all loved her.

Gary Lee and family, I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your Mother. I know we haven't seen each other since junior high but I did see your sweet mom a few times over the years. Such a sweet, sweet lady. I pray for peace and guidance for you and your family during this new journey in your lives.

Patsy was so special to all of us who worked at Lumberton Primary School. She was our school "mom" and she took care of us all. We all loved her and appreciated all the help and love she freely gave to us and our children. My sincere sympathy to those she leaves behind who will miss her so much. May God bring comfort and peace to you. Goodbye sweet friend until we meet again.

It is with much love and respect we say farewell to a very special friend. Raymond always loved to see Patsy's reaction when he said "Mrs. Perks, you look so lovely today." Patsy, you will always look lovely in our eyes. Bless you and your family.
