John T Wise

Our class of 1957 had so many outstanding individuals who have gone on to make wonderful careers and contributions to our world and John certainly was one we hold up proudly as a great classmate. Our hearts are very saddened at his passing and our hope is for God's peace, wisdom and love will strengthen you during this time of loss and healing. Thanks you John for serving our country!!

I only served with John at San Miguel, Philippines in the
early 70's. I believe that he was the first Chief Warrant
Officer that I encountered in the Navy. As a young sailor,
I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, and remember thinking how much I would like to have a Naval career similar to his. He was an inspiration to me and many others. My condolences to his family and friends.

I served with John at San Miguel, Philippines. I remember that he was a fine officer with a quick and ready wit. On several occasions he gave me great advice that helped shape my career. John was never afraid to speak his mind. I liked him a lot.

He liked really hot chilis.

In every sailor's life there is one man who makes a difference. For me that man was CWO2 John T. Wise. RIP, you will be missed but not forgotten. LCDR Bob Morrison, USN (ret).

From an old Navy "Spook" who served alongside John in Danang, Republic of Vietnam, my deepest condolences to John's family on the loss of our friend and true patriot. On behalf of all the Spooks who served with John, God speed.
