The Sherman family is mourning with you all...my entire childhood was the Bangerter kids childhood too...every weekend was Casa Bonita and sleepovers while the parents played cards...Terri babysitting with kitchen concoctions...Taco Palace, watching Don sweat with hot sauces...climbing neighbors roofs (Barbie)... church ski trips...move to CA (sorry Ross, not my fault...) Grandmas loving us all...Weatherford, Don and dad taught me how to water ski on Crowder Lake (closed for years now...deemed too dangerous)...many memories at Table Rock Lake...Love you all so much. Hope to see you all soon... Love, DeDe

Just a great guy. Did not forget a name or a face and had such tremendous love for his family. Godspeed to you, Don.

As you see, Don is my namesake. He's my second father, and out of both of our families, the only boy out of 7 girls. Oy! I have great memories of Don, Patt and the whole Bangerter clan with the varous times we spent with our families: vacations, visits to their home in OKC, then moving them to California (me getting left behind in Clines Corners, NM), then in Weatherford, OK and then back in OKC, then at TableRock Lake in Missouri. Don is one of the smartest guys I known and fantastic to be around. His mind was always moving and tinkering and it showed with the technology he helped develop while at 3M and many other industries he was connected with. Don leaves a definite impression on all who will miss him; his kindness, patience, humor and laughter made up the man who was a great father and friend, Don Bangerter.
