Laurie & family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a dear friend and I loved working with her when I was at the Beaumont Heritage Society & McFaddin-Ward House Museum. During my museum career days, she was one of the active members/volunteers with whom I gratefully accepted advice, appreciated her opinion & was always glad of her support regarding our historic museums, libraries & preservation/restoration projects. Beaumont has lost another treasure. Perhaps your Mom and my Dad are already holding a meeting in heaven, to work on preserving more historical sites. With my deepest sympathy, Rebecca Woodland.
