No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. But take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord. My deepest condolences to you and your family. -

I am so sad to hear of Naaman's passing. He was such a great person. I always enjoyed his stories and his kind demeanor. Please know that you are all in my prayers.

I just learned about Naaman's passing. I remember working with him on Civic Opera. He was a good, kind person. Deepest sympathy.

I have many fond memories of him from both church and BCO. I learned a lot from him over the years.

My heart is with you in your loss. He was a good friend and colleague from the beginning of my career at Lamar 53 years ago. Some of us still remember his programs on early American music and appreciate his enthusiasm for music, opera (especially the Beaumont Civic Opera.) and the First Methodist Church choir. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Dear Mary,
In my estimation, never has there been a man more blessed with kindness, love of arts, gentility, and yes requisite of excellence. I shall be forever grateful for the enhancement of my appreciation for opera, learned from you and Naaman. Every time I play the CD Naaman cut for me of the gorgeous duet from Pearl Fishers, I am struck with the unfathomable beauty God included in designing our world. People like you and Naaman must have been an integral part of His design.
