Honey, I am so sorry for your loss, but I know in my heart that Heaven has gained another Angel. I want you and Phillips other family members to know that I am praying for you and know that he is no longer suffering. I know he is watching over you and always protecting you. He will never be forgotten. I am so glad you had the time with him here on earth and know you look forward to when you will be together again. I love you Honey and am here for you, Aunt Rosa

Phil Young was one of the best people I've ever had the pleasure and honor of knowing. His kindness knew no boundaries and his love for and loyalty to his family and friends was unlimited. We were blessed that he walked among us and he will be missed eternally.

Phil - memories of you keep flooding through my mind. We talked for hours about everything. You were my first friend when we moved to Warren. I thank you for such a genuine friendship. You wrote to me on the back of your senior picture to "keep being me." I think I have done that. Birlene, Cary, Cristi, Honey and the rest of the family - may God wrap His loving arms around you and give you comfort and peace as you go through this difficult time. We can rejoice in knowing we will see Phil again, and that he is no longer suffering. Much love to you.

We have lost a gentle man who softly walked this earth, thunderously played his bass guitar in a band known as Buffalo Blonde and did so with soul and artistry, and ethically and spiritually. He loved his wife, Honey, his children, his friends. It was a privilege to know him and to be at his side. Phillip was thoroughly a good man. I will miss him and so many others will cherish his memory.
